Written and performed by Ryan Bogedin between 2002 and 2004, Devil and a Saint stands as one of his most hauntingly beautiful songs. The moment I heard it, it became—and remains—my favorite of all his work. A few years ago, I created a video to honor the piece, gently slowing the pace to match the emotion I felt in every lyric. What you hear in this version is a love letter to the original—raw, reflective, and deeply personal.
